DESCRIPTION
The Hybridization Neutralizing Solution is used to neutralize the pH of the gel following depurination/denaturation treatment prior to Southern transfer. This allows for a more efficient transfer of DNA in Southern blots.
Med Biosciences Hybridization neutralizing solution is composed of molecular biology grade 0.5 M Tris-HCl, and 1.5 M Sodium chloride (NaCl) at pH 7.4 ± 0.1. The solution is prepared with Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free Water to ensure utmost quality. The final solution is filtered using a 0.22 µm filter into final sterile bottles.
The solution is manufactured according to strict quality control standards to ensure lot-to-lot consistency. Our solution is certified sterile, DNase/RNase free, and protease free.
Each lot of our Molecular Biology Grade neutralizing solution is subjected to rigorous quality control which involves checking for RNase activity, Exonuclease activity, Nonspecific Endonuclease activity, Nonspecific Protease activity, and Sterility.
Available in different convenient sizes (250 mL to 1 Gal sterile bottles). Customized solutions are available to meet individual needs.
