DESCRIPTION

Med Biosciences 5.0 M Sodium Chloride (NaCl) is a ready-to-use sterile stock solution to dilute to any desired lower molar concentration. It is commonly used in molecular biology experiments involving DNA and RNA purification and analysis.

Our NaCl solution is prepared from a molecular biology grade reagent [highly pure NaCl for molecular biology, DNase, RNase, and protease, none detected, ≥99% (titration)] with Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free Water to ensure utmost quality. The final solution is autoclaved then filtered using a 0.2 µm filter and filled into final sterile bottles.

5 M NaCl solution is manufactured according to strict quality control standards to ensure lot-to-lot consistency. Our solution is sterile, DNase/RNase free, and protease free.

Each lot of our Molecular Biology Grade Sodium Chloride solution is subjected to rigorous quality control which involves checking for RNase activity, Exonuclease activity, Nonspecific Endonuclease activity, Nonspecific Protease activity, and Sterility.

Available in 3 convenient sizes (125 mL, 250 mL, and 500 mL bottles). Customized solutions are available to meet individual needs.

COMPOSITION:

5.0 M (292.2g/L) solution is formulated from a molecular grade Sodium Chloride [Molecular Weight: 58.44, Cas Number: 7647-14-5, highly pure for molecular biology, DNase, RNase, and protease, none detected, ≥99% (titration)] in Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free Water. Then, the solution is autoclaved and finally filtered through 0.2 µm filter into final sterile and DNase/RNase free bottles.

PACKAGING:

Available in 125 mL, 250 mL, and 500 mL bottles.

5.0 M NaCl solution is packaged in Sterile and RNase/DNase-free thick wall bottles that are made from medical/food-grade PET/PETG plastic materials.
