1.0 M Magnesium Chloride – MgCl₂ – Molecular Biology Grade Solution

DESCRIPTION

Med Biosciences’ highly pure 1.0 M Magnesium chloride (MgCl₂) solution is used as an excellent magnesium ion source for synthesis and biology research. Magnesium chloride is widely used to supply the magnesium ion in various molecular biology applications including PCR, Reagent Formulation, Enzymatic Activity Testing, Reagent Stabilization, Protein purification, Transcription and more.

Our 1.0 M Magnesium Chloride solution is prepared from a highly pure molecular biology grade reagent with Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free Water to ensure utmost quality. The final solution is autoclaved and filtered using a 0.2 µm filter and filled into sterile bottles.

Magnesium Chloride solution is manufactured according to strict quality control standards to ensure lot-to-lot consistency. Our solution is sterile, DNase/RNase free, and protease free.

Each lot of our Molecular Biology Grade Magnesium Chloride solution is subjected to rigorous quality control which involves checking for RNase activity, Exonuclease activity, Nonspecific Endonuclease activity, Nonspecific Protease activity, and Sterility.

Available in convenient sizes of 25x 1.5 mL (tubes), 125 mL, and 250 mL bottles. Customized solutions are available to meet individual needs.

COMPOSITION:

1.0 M Magnesium Chloride solution is formulated from molecular grade Magnesium chloride hexahydrate (MgCl₂.6H₂O, Molecular Weight: 203.30, Cas Number: 7791-18-6, highly pure ACS reagent, 99.0-102.0%) in Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free Water. The solution is autoclaved, then filtered through 0.2 µm filter into final sterile and DNase/RNase free bottles.

Available in 25x 1.5 mL (tubes), 125 mL, and 250 mL bottles.

1.0 M Magnesium Chloride solution is packaged in Sterile and RNase/DNase-free thick wall bottles that are made from medical/food-grade PET/PETG plastic materials.
