10X DPBS – Dulbecco′s Phosphate Buffered Saline (Without Calcium and Magnesium, Sterile-Filtered, DNase/RNase-free, pH 7.4, Cell Culture Grade)

DESCRIPTION

Dulbecco′s Phosphate Buffered Saline (DPBS) is a balanced salt solution developed for use in tissue culture applications.

DPBS is a widespread use isotonic saline solution for washing and diluting cells during preparation and serial transfer.

DPBS has been used in many other applications such as a component of the reaction mixture for the fluoro-labeling reaction of pro-nerve growth factor (proNGF)-YBBR; to wash and equilibrate the cells post transepithelial electrical resistance (TEER) measurement of Caco-2BBe cells; and to wash cells for protein isolation.

We provide 2 options of the 10X Cell-Culture Grade D-PBS: 10X Dulbecco′s Phosphate Buffered Saline with MgCl₂ and CaCl₂ (Cat. No. BDPBS-10X) and 10X DPBS without MgCl₂ and CaCl₂ (Cat. No. BDPBS01-10X).

The 10X buffer solution is composed of 1.369 M Sodium Chloride (NaCl), 26.8 mM Potassium Chloride (KCl), 80.9 mM Sodium Phosphate Dibasic (Na₂HPO₄), and 14.7 mM Potassium Phosphate Monobasic (KH₂PO₄), pH7.4 ± 0.1.

To use, Dilute 1 volume of 10X DPBS with 9 volumes of sterile deionized water. The final concentration in 1X solution: 136.9 mM Sodium Chloride (NaCl), 2.68 mM Potassium Chloride (KCl), 8.09 mM Sodium Phosphate Dibasic (Na₂HPO₄), and 1.47 mM Potassium Phosphate Monobasic (KH₂PO₄), 7.4± 0.1. CaCl₂ and MgCl₂ can be added in final concentrations of 0.88 mM and 0.49 mM, respectively.

Our buffer is formulated from Highly Pure Molecular-Grade Chemicals in Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm Water.

The buffer is Sterile filtered through 0.1 µm membrane.

The buffer is evaluated and certified for being RNase/DNase and protease free.

The solution is a Cell culture Grade (Endotoxin-free). [Endotoxin Content: <0.0002EU/mg (Pyrotell Gel-Clot endotoxin test)]

Our thick wall bottles are leak-proof and made from Medical/Food grade PET and PETG.
