DESCRIPTION
Tris-Acetate-EDTA Buffer (TAE) is formulated for gel preparation and electrophoretic separation of nucleic acids on agarose gel.
The 10X concentrated TAE buffer is composed of 0.4M Tris, 0.2M Acetic acid, and 0.01M EDTA (pH 7.6 ± 0.1).
To use, Dilute 1 volume of the buffer with 9 volumes of deionized molecular grade water. The final concentrations of 1X solution: 40 mM Tris, 20 mM Acetic Acid, and 1 mM EDTA. It is recommended to check the pH of the solution after dilution.
Our buffer is formulated from Highly Pure Molecular-Grade Chemicals in Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm Water.
The buffer is sterile, filtered through 0.2µm membrane.
The buffer is tested and certified for being RNase/DNase and protease free.
