1X Denhardt’s Solution

DESCRIPTION

Denhardt’s Solution is suitable for nucleic acid hybridization. The solution is a mixture of high-molecular weight blocking agents capable of saturating non-specific binding sites and artificially increasing the concentration of available probe.

Med Biosciences Denhardt’s solution is prepared from molecular biology grade Ficoll 400, Sodium Chloride, Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVA), and Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA, Fraction V) with Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free Water to ensure utmost quality. The final solution is filtered using a 0.2 µm filter into final sterile bottles.

The ready-to-use Denhardt’s solution is manufactured according to strict quality control standards to ensure lot-to-lot consistency. Our solution is certified sterile, DNase/RNase free, and protease free.

Each lot of our Molecular Biology Grade Hybridization Buffer is subjected to rigorous quality control which involves checking for RNase activity, Exonuclease activity, Nonspecific Endonuclease activity, Nonspecific Protease activity, and Sterility.

Available in different convenient sizes (250 mL, 500 mL, 1 L, and 1 Gal. sterile bottles). Customized solutions are available to meet individual needs.

COMPOSITION:

1X Denhardt’s solution is composed of 0.02% Ficoll 400, 3.0 mM Sodium Chloride (NaCl), 0.02% Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVA), and 0.02% BSA. (pH 7.2 ± 0.1) in Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free Water. The final solution is filtered through 0.22 µm filter into final sterile and DNase/RNase free bottles.

PACKAGING:

Available in 250 mL, 500 mL, 1 L, and 1 Gal bottles.

Denhardt’s solution is packaged in Sterile and RNase/DNase-free thick wall bottles that are classified for medical/food usage.
