DESCRIPTION

Dulbecco′s Phosphate Buffered Saline (DPBS) is a balanced salt solution developed for use in tissue culture.

DPBS is a widespread use isotonic saline solution for washing and diluting cells during preparation and serial transfer.

DPBS has been used in many other applications such as a component of the reaction mixture for the fluoro-labeling reaction of pro-nerve growth factor (proNGF)-YBBR; to wash and equilibrate the cells post transepithelial electrical resistance (TEER) measurement of Caco-2BBe cells; and to wash cells for protein isolation.

The ready-to-use Cell-Culture Grade DPBS contains MgCl₂ and CaCl₂.

Final concentration of 1X solution: 136.9 mM Sodium Chloride (NaCl), 2.68 mM Potassium Chloride (KCl), 0.88 mM Calcium Chloride 2-Hydrate (CaCl₂•2H₂O), 0.49 mM Magnesium Chloride 6-Hydrate (MgCl₂•6H₂O), 8.09 mM Sodium Phosphate Dibasic (Na₂HPO₄), and 1.47 mM Potassium Phosphate Monobasic (KH₂PO₄) (pH 7.4± 0.1).

Our buffer is prepared in a cGMP compliant facility. The buffer is formulated from Highly Pure Molecular-Grade Chemicals in Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm Water.

The buffer is Sterile filtered through 0.1µm membrane. The buffer is evaluated and certified for being RNase/DNase and protease free.

Med Biosciences DPBS is a Cell culture Grade buffer. The buffer is evaluated and certified for being Endotoxin-free [Endotoxin Content: <0.0002EU/mg (Pyrotell Gel-Clot endotoxin test)].
