1X MES-SDS Running Buffer (Dry Buffer Packs)

DESCRIPTION

Dry packaged premixed powder buffers require minimal storage space and offer virtually unlimited shelf life. Dry packaged buffers are offered at the indicated concentrations and should be completely dissolved into sufficient molecular grade water to produce the final concentration required.

1X MES-SDS Dry Buffer Packs are ready to use premixed dry chemicals in pouches designed to make 1X MES-SDS Running Buffer for Bis Tris gels (for electrophoretic separation of small to medium size proteins). Dissolve the contents of each pack in a final volume of 1L of deionized 18.2 mega Ω-cm water to give a 1X solution with the concentrations of 50 mM MES, 50 mM Bis-Tris, 1 mM EDTA, and 0.1 % SDS (pH 7.3, at 25 ᴼC).

Convenient ready to use packs with no weighing or adjusting of pH required. These buffer packs have a longer shelf life when compared to buffer solutions. Highly reproducible better compositions.
