DESCRIPTION

3.0 M Sodium acetate Solution (pH 5.2) is used for precipitating DNA and RNA, extraction, and DNA purification. It has also been utilized in reverse crosslinking of DNA and coimmunoprecipitation of Gata6 (GATA binding protein 6) with specific GATA containing cDNA.

Med Biosciences 3.0 M Sodium Acetate is a ready-to-use solution for Routine Precipitation of DNA or RNA, reverse crosslinking and coimmunoprecipitation of DNA biding proteins with corresponding plasmids.

Our 3 M Sodium Acetate solution is prepared from a molecular biology grade reagent [highly pure for molecular biology, DNase, RNase, and protease, none detected, ≥99%] with Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free Water to ensure utmost quality. The final solution is filtered using a 0.2 µm filter into final sterile bottles.

The solution is manufactured according to strict quality control standards to ensure lot-to-lot consistency. Our solution is certified sterile, DNase/RNase free, and protease free.

Each lot of our Molecular Biology Grade Sodium Acetate solution is subjected to rigorous quality control which involves checking for RNase activity, Exonuclease activity, Nonspecific Endonuclease activity, Nonspecific Protease activity, and Sterility.

Available in 2 convenient sizes (125 mL, and 250 mL bottles). Customized solutions are available to meet individual needs.

COMPOSITION:

3.0 M (246.1 g/L) solution is formulated from a molecular grade Anhydrous Sodium Acetate [Molecular Weight: 82.03, Cas Number: 127-09-3, highly pure for molecular biology, DNase, RNase, and protease, none detected, ≥99%] in Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free Water. The pH is adjusted to 5.2 using Glacial Acetic acid. The solution is filtered through 0.2 µm filter into final sterile and DNase/RNase free bottles.

PACKAGING:

Available in 125 mL, and 250 mL bottles.

3.0 M Sodium Acetate solution is packaged in Sterile and RNase/DNase-free thick wall bottles that are classified for medical/food usage.
