6X DNA Sample Loading Buffer

DESCRIPTION

The 6X DNA Sample Loading Buffer (Dye) is used for loading DNA markers and DNA samples on agarose or polyacrylamide gels.

Med Biosciences 6X DNA sample buffer is Ideal for improving resolution and separation of DNA fragments.

The sample buffer contains two tracking dyes, Bromophenol Blue and Xylene Cyanol FF, for visual tracking of DNA migration during agarose gel electrophoresis.

In 1% agarose gels Bromophenol Blue comigrates with a ~300 bp DNA fragment and Xylene Cyanol FF – with the ~4000 bp fragment.
The 6X DNA Sample Loading Buffer is composed of 10 mM Tris-HCl, 0.03% Bromophenol Blue, 0.03% Xylene Cyanol FF, 60% Glycerol, and 60 mM EDTA (pH 7.6).

Our buffer is formulated from Highly Pure Molecular-Grade Chemicals in Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm Water to ensure utmost quality.

Our sample buffer is tested and certified for the absence of DNase and RNase activity.

PROCEDURE:

Add 1 volume of the 6X loading buffer to every 5 volumes of the sample and mix well before loading on the gels.
