ACD (Acid Citrate Dextrose) Solution B – Whole Blood Anticoagulant Solution

DESCRIPTION

ACD (Acid Citrate Dextrose) Solution A and ACD (Acid Citrate Dextrose) Solution B are anticoagulants for whole blood. These solutions also act as acidifying agents to platelet poor plasma.

Med Biosciences Solution B is composed of USP Grade 23 mM Citric Acid, 65 mM Sodium Citrate, and 136 mM Dextrose (pH from 4.5 to 5.5). The solution is prepared with a USP Grade Autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free Water to ensure utmost quality. The final solution is filtered using a 0.22 µm filter into final sterile bottles.

ACD solution B is manufactured according to strict quality control standards to ensure lot-to-lot consistency. Our solution is certified sterile, DNase/RNase free, and protease free.

Each lot of our ACD solutions is subjected to rigorous quality control which involves checking for RNase activity, Exonuclease activity, Nonspecific Endonuclease activity, Nonspecific Protease activity, and Sterility.

ACD solution B is available in different sizes (100 mL to 500 mL sterile bottles). Customized solutions are available to meet individual needs.

PACKAGING:

Available in 100 mL, 250 mL, and 500 mL bottles.

ACD solution B is packaged in Sterile and RNase/DNase-free thick wall bottles that are classified for medical/food usage.
