DESCRIPTION
We offer two options of Oropharyngeal Swabs-Type II (OPN-Type II) that are made by Med Biosciences. OPN-002 (individually wrapped swabs in paper/plastic pouches) are High-quality nylon flocked oral swabs, using medical grade materials that are proven not to interfere with subsequent molecular analysis of collected samples. The other option is OPN-002T which is the same OPN-002 swab but packaged in a dry plastic tube.
OPN002 and OPN-002T have a built-in breakpoint at 30 mm from the swab tip end.
Special flocking technology grants optimum sample collection and subsequent analysis.
Special nylon microfibers maximize adsorption capacity to viral particles and high releasing capacity of the collected sample to media.
In addition to human sampling, our oropharyngeal swabs can be also used for collecting nasal samples from animals.
Certified sterilization of these individually packaged swabs.

PACKAGING:
50 individual iSwabs are packaged in a resealable bag.
Cartons containing 10 bags (500 Swabs), 20 bags (1,000 Swabs), 40 bags (2,000 Swabs) and 100 bags (5,000 Swabs) are available.
