PBS – VTM (2 mL) Phosphate Buffered Saline – Viral Transport Medium (W/O Antibiotics)

DESCRIPTION

Med Biosciences PBS-VΤM (Phosphate Buffered Saline-Viral Transport Medium, Cat. No. PBSV01-2ML) contains 2 mL of Sterile, DNase and RNase-free Phosphate Buffered Saline, with Gentamicin Sulfate (50 mg/mL) and Amphotericin B (250 µg/mL), for transporting viral samples. We also provide the same Phosphate Buffered Saline (2 mL) without Gentamicin Sulfate and Amphotericin B (Cat. No. PBSV02-2ML)

PBS-VΤM is provided in a polypropylene cryogenic leak-proof tube allowing the storage of samples under different temperatures (ambient to -80 ᴼC).

PBS-VΤM is produced under highest manufacturing standards. It is formulated from highly pure molecular-grade chemicals in autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase-RNase-free deionized water.

The solution is sterilized by filtration using 0.22 µM filter cartridge.

Each batch of PBS-VΤM product is extensively evaluated for efficacy, stability, sterility, and confirmed for being DNase and RNase free.

COMPOSITION:

Cat. No. PBSV02-2ML: 137 mM Sodium Chloride (NaCl), 2.7 mM Potassium Chloride (KCl), 10 mM Dibasic Sodium Phosphate (Na₂HPO₄), 1.8 mM Monobasic Potassium Phosphate (KH₂PO₄), 50 mg/mL Gentamicin Sulfate, and 250 µg/mL Amphotericin B (pH 7.4 ± 0.1).

Product Cat. No. PBSV02-2ML has the same composition without Gentamicin Sulfate, and Amphotericin B.

PACKAGING:

100 PBS-VΤM Tubes (2 mL each) are racked in one box.

4, 6, 8, and 12 boxes (100 tubes each) are packaged in one large carton (400 to1200 tubes).

Each batch of our PBS-VΤM is vigorously evaluated for efficacy, sterility, and stability. The transport medium is sterile filtered (using 0.22 µm filter), and RNase and DNase free.

Product is stable and shipped at room temperature. For extended shelf life, store at 2-8 ᴼC upon receiving.
