DESCRIPTION

Med Biosciences Bulk PBS-VΤM (Phosphate Buffered Saline-Viral Transport Medium) provides an effective economical liquid solution that is suitable for the transport of samples suspected to contain virus.

250 mL-1000 mL PBS-VΤM bottles containing Sterile, DNase and RNase-free Phosphate Buffered Saline, with Gentamicin Sulfate (50 mg/mL) and Amphotericin B (250 µg/mL). We also provide the same Phosphate Buffered Saline without Gentamicin Sulfate and Amphotericin B (Please see under the Buffers Category: products Cat. PBS-VΤM is produced under highest manufacturing standards. It is formulated from highly pure molecular-grade chemicals in autoclaved 18.2 mega Ω-cm DNase/RNase-free deionized water.

The solution is sterilized by filtration using 0.22 µM filter cartridge.

PBS-VΤM is provided in economical 250 mL, 500 mL, and 1000 mL Leak-Proof bottles allowing laboratories to aliquot in their own tubes.

Each batch of PBS-V™ products is extensively evaluated for efficacy, stability, sterility, and confirmed for being DNase and RNase free.

COMPOSITION:

PBS-VΤM is composed of 137 mM Sodium Chloride (NaCl), 2.7 mM Potassium Chloride (KCl), 10 mM Dibasic Sodium Phosphate (Na₂HPO₄), 1.8 mM Monobasic Potassium Phosphate (KH₂PO₄), 50 mg/mL Gentamicin Sulfate, and 250 µg/mL Amphotericin B (pH 7.4 ± 0.1).

PACKAGING:

PBS-VΤM is provided in economical 250 mL, 500 mL, and 1000 mL bottles allowing laboratories to aliquot in their own tubes.

Our thick wall bottles are leak-proof and made from Medical/Food grade PET and PETG.

Single, 2, 4, and 6 bottle packages are available.

Each batch of our PBS-VΤM is vigorously evaluated for efficacy, sterility, and stability. The transport medium is sterile filtered (using 0.22 µm filter), and RNase and DNase free.

Product is stable and shipped at room temperature. For extended shelf life, store at 2-8 ᴼC upon receiving.
