DESCRIPTION
Nuclease-free DEPC-Treated Water is ready to use for your RNA and DNA work, and requires no preparation, mixing, or autoclaving.
This water can be used to prepare reagents for RNA and DNA extraction and analysis, resuspension of purified RNA, RNA/DNA extraction buffers and RT-PCR analysis.
It is prepared from 18.2 mega Ω-cm Water that is treated with 0.1% DEPC (diethylpyrocarbonate) overnight, then autoclaved, filtered through 0.2 μm filter into the final RNase/DNase-free bottles, and autoclaved again to make sure full inactivation of DEPC.
We package our water in Sterile and RNase/DNase-free thick wall bottles that are made from medical/food-grade PET/PETG plastic materials.
Our DEPC water is subjected to rigorous quality control which involves checking for RNase activity, Exonuclease activity and Nonspecific Endonuclease activity, Nonspecific Protease activity and Sterility as shown in the following table.

PACKAGING:
DEPC treated water is packaged in different bottle sizes: 1.5 mL, 10 mL, 50 mL, 125 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL, 1000 mL, and 4000 mL.
Packages of 1 to 6 bottles are available.

NOTES
Our DEPC treated water is filtered through 0.2 µm filter and autoclaved twice: after water treatment with DEPC, and after filling in final bottles. Please use only DNase/RNase free and sterile micropipette tips, serological pipette, tubes, and bottles when managing this water.
